Ajanta route to have new pollution free buses:

State road transport Corporation has announced buying of 10 new pollution free buses on Ajanta route in March 2008. It has been operating pollution free buses in association with Maharashtra Tourism development Corporation since 01st January 2001 and the existing contract ends in March-2008. All buses from T-point to Ajanta caves meet Euro-2 standards and include 5 luxurious and 5 semis.

10th January 2008:

Ajanta-Ellora festival from 22nd November:

Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation is conducting its annual Ajanta and Ellora festival from 23rd November at Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar University campus Aurangabad. Event would also have exhibition of various art works/ handicrafts in 'Kalagram' section. It has invited famous icons like Gulam Ali, Amjad Ali Khan, Pt Prabhakar Karekar, Arti Ankalikar, Shonak Abhisheki, Sharbani Mukhrjee, Devyani, Anuradha Paul.

22nd June 2007:

Monsoon showers continue to bestow region:

Jalgaon District along with Dhule and Nandurbar continued to witness showery raining yesterday. Jalgaon City, Chalisgaon, Bhadgaon, Pachora, Yaval had medium raining while some areas had heavy raining. Lightning killed 15 years youth at Savkheda in Pachora and another in Sonvad. Region's Waghur River yesterday witnessed flooding following raining in Ajanta Caves region.

Ajanta - Ellora Friends Association meeting today:

The Ajanta Ellora Friends Association is meeting today to elect its new Board for period from 2007 to 2010. Other agenda points include preparations for Ajanta-Caves festivity 2007 from 15th January and Ajanta Paintings exhibition.
